In 2018, Greg joined TRC to work with builders, architects, and raters in new construction efficiency offerings. In 2019 and again in 2021 Greg managed code studies for the states of Oregon and Washington. Both studies have been published by Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) and shed light on the code development process, industry adjustment, and builder’s reactions to code. Other clients of Greg’s include Energy Trust of Oregon and Bonneville Power Administration. Prior to his work with TRC, Greg has worked in and out of the public sector for 25 years. Greg managed an efficiency retrofit company and acted as a building analyst in the existing homes market.
