Chelsea Acker is passionate about sustainability, our environment, and creating a better world for her community. In 2019, she completed the Oregon Tradeswomen pre-apprenticeship program. Her goal was to start a career in carpentry with a focus on high-performance energy-efficient and sustainable builds. Chelsea earned a scholarship and participated in the Sustainable Home Professional (SHP) course through Earth Advantage, where she gained a passion for building science. She made a connection with Green Hammer and was hired first as a Carpenter before moving into a role as Project Engineer. Chelsea now works as a Project Assistant at Don Tankersley & Co. Chelsea enjoys being in nature hiking and camping, making fiber art, and strengthening her community by spending quality time with her close friends and family.
