In this keynote session, participants will hear about how home performance elements exist as a system and how to get the building enclosure and high-performance mechanicals go hand in hand. The session will mention the key changes of the 2021 IECC and discuss methods, strategies, and opportunities to meet these requirements. The session will discuss the how and the why behind exterior insulation, airtightness, and unvented crawl spaces and attics. The goal of this keynote is to get participants excited to create or renovate buildings that are ever safer, healthier, more comfortable, durable and more energy efficient.
