In this session, Josh will describe the 4 control layers of any building assembly and the order of their importance. He will explain how a control layer works, how it needs to be comprehensive and continuous around a building and how these layers when designed and installed correctly will create buildings that last longer, are healthier for their occupants, are more resilient in heat domes and cold snaps, are way more comfortable and by extension– more energy efficient.
