Chris is the Assistant Director of Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES), the regional wastewater and surface water utility serving large portions of Clackamas County. His work is focused on protecting public health and the environment by ensuring the creation of clean water. From 2009 to 2019, Chris served on the Oregon City School Board as an elected member, including a nearly three- year term as Chair. During that time he joined the board of the Oregon City Business Alliance where he now serves as Secretary. Chris also serves as the congregational president for Oregon City Evangelical Church where he and his family attends. Chris grew up in Canby, Oregon and graduated from Willamette University in Salem with a degree in Economics, followed by a law degree from NYU. He worked as an attorney for nearly 20 years in both private and public practice in New York City, Silicon Valley, and the Portland area, representing banks, venture capital funds, real estate investors, and businesses from startups to Fortune 100 companies. He also formerly served as legal Counsel for Clackamas County before joining Clackamas WES.
