The area where the exterior sheathing, top plate, drywall, and soffit/eave ventilation intakes all come together is a challenging area to effectively air seal and insulate. The presentation will cover the different common ways this tight area is put together and what to do in each situation. Additionally, the presentation will show how raised heel trusses solve the problems encountered in this area when standard framing/trusses are used.
