Where to stay, where to park, and where to go to get the most out of your BuildRight Conference + Expo experience.
The location for the 2025 BuildRight Conference + Expo looks a little different this year. We are excited to be in Portland’s Central Eastside Industrial District which is home to some of Portland’s most sought out local makers, designers, and boundary-pushing creatives, as well as countless inventive restaurants, bars, and shops. This inspiring district in Portland is just over the Willamette River coming from Downtown Portland and has been revitalized and reinvigorated to provide Portland locals and visitors a fun and safe area to explore.
The Location for the the 2025 BuildRight Conference + Expo – The Redd on Salmon Street
Located at: 831 SE Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97214
About The Redd on Salmon: With your creative vision in mind, this building is designed for eating, cooking, learning, and celebrating. Four unique spaces connect seamlessly or can stand on their own. You’ve found the perfect place for your interactive cooking experience, rainmaking gala, or epic festival. Event spaces at the Redd are managed by Ecotrust Events, offering nearly two decades of venue management and event production experience.
Parking Options + How to Get There
PARKING:
- 2 Hour Street Parking (7am – 6pm) in immediate vicinity, please do not park in private lots.
- Very limited parking is RESERVED at The Redd parking plaza off Salmon Street.
- Paid parking lots near The Redd with a just a few minutes’ walk:
- Parking NW on SE 7th and Madison
- City Center Parking 1001 SE Madison
- Universal Parking Services Lot #339 on SE 2nd and Yamhill
- Weatherly Building Parking (ParkChirp) on SE Grand and Morrison
We strongly encourage carpooling or utilizing a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft.
ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS:
- Two streetcar lines — the blue and pink — run north and south on SE Grand and SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., only a quarter mile from the Redd. Check out current schedules and learn more at the Portland Streetcar website.
- Four bus lines stop within a quarter mile of the Redd:
- The #4 bus has westbound stops at SE Madison and Grand and eastbound stops at SE Hawthorne and 6th
- The #6 bus has southbound stops at SE MLK Jr. Blvd. and Taylor and northbound stops at SE Grand and Taylor
- The #15 bus has westbound stops at SE Morrison and 9th and eastbound stops at SE Belmont and 9th
- The #70 bus has southbound stops at SE 11th and Belmont and northbound stops at SE 12th and Madison.
